Sale Maffra's slim hopes of making this years Country Week final slipped away late this afternoon when the team TIED with Kyabram in their round 3 clash.
Batting first Kyabram scored 7 for 194 from its alloted 50 overs.
In reply Sale Maffra was all out for the same score of 194 runs after looking in control half way through the innings then in real trouble after a mid order collapse saw them loose their 8th wicket with a further 40 runs required.
Stuart Anderson 64 and Jason Morrison 31 were the leading run scorers.  Neither player will be available for the round 4 clash against Ferntree Gully tomorrow.
