Sale Maffra cricket association has had four players make their senior debuts in round 1 of G.C.L. today (24/10/2010)
The players were (L to R) Tom Tudor, Tim Bourke, Daniel Bedggood and Aaron Lynch.
Tudor teamed up with veteran Nathan Massey to post a 5th wicket partnership of 136, a new Sale-Maffra record at senior level.  The previous best was 120 made at Country Week (twice) while the previous best in the GCL was just 87.
Sale Maffra scored 6 for 181 off their alloted 50 overs then strangled Central Gippsland by holding them to 7 for 96 from 50 overs.   The players are pictured in the new senior playing shirts which also had their first outing today.
