Season 2005/06 will commence on Saturday 1st October 2005.   The last playing day prior to the Christmas break will be Saturday 17th December.
In order to avoid a clash with the Commonwealth Games, the season has been shortened by one week although the number of playing days has not been altered.  The home and away season will now end on the last Sunday in February (26th) with semi-finals to be played on the 1st weekend in March (4th & 5th) and Grand-finals on the second weekend in March (11th & 12th).
