The Sale Maffra Cricket Association Committee of management is saddened to learn of the passing of Alan Daniel, [President - VCCL Region 7].

Alan was a loyal servant of the game and represented Gippsland Cricket over a long period of time in many capacities, including Board member, Vice-President, President and Under 18 team manager. He carried out his duties impartiality and decisively.

Gippsland and Sale-Maffra cricket has lost a true friend.
